well, if your hand shook as much as mine when marking cds, you'd think this tool was just fine. also, i have a hard time drawing jpeg pictures of the artist that i can easily grab off the web & put on the cd for instant recognition.you pay just as much of a premium for those fancy writable cd blanks as lightscribe cds. besides, i can remember when it took 20 minutes to just burn a cd, so i've learned to go out & take a walk while it's creating my graphics.

i've been using icofx for maybe 2 years now?. it's refreshingly simple to use and the results always pass my expectations! i've never come close to needing it's help program so i'm not even sure if it has one at the moment..sorry.. the pc i originally installed it on(is still on) runs xp pro and i was worried it wouldn't make the transition when i built a new pc and installed win 7 ultimate ..i use a 1t usb storage drive which i now use with this new pc.. it has copies of the program files off the xp computer so i opened the icofx folder and dragged the exe to my taskbar and selected create shortcut here..and that was that.. it works even better with win 7! and screaming fast.. special thanks to the developer(s).'droid

even the 'vendor' spiel seems vague and evasive. spybot program maintenance seems to have been abandoned years ago!?where could it have obtained or justified the 5 stars? how old are the 82m downloads?

in addition to the points raised in reviews by others, i have to express concern over:1. who are doneex? i would appreciate an "about us" giving details of the software authors and company. is there a secret?2. i had difficulty understanding set up instructions.3. i am not confident that the compiled formulae are really secure. ok those that have tried have not yet found how to read the compiled formulae. that is not to say that the compiled formulae cannot be un-compiled by the software authors themselves. i would be reassured by an independent audit of this feature by a reputable us or international organisation.

considering the free alternatives, this os needs some serious added incentives to make it appealing. this os is aimed at tech types who know about free alternatives like ubuntu so it would only be worth installing the final rtm if it costed less than and had some real ms innovation for a change. but knowing ms that won't happen. the slogan for this os could be:"home server: the fail starts now"@fidelio they may be based on the same code but that doesn't mean anything. windows xp home and windows server 2003 enterprise are built on the same codebase. so what.

mr. troll... why is it such a problem to install an older version that you like? i always just do that and don't update any more, at least for the time being. btw. it's simply a problem with your pc of some kind as it works great for me. never jump to conclusions so quickly. but yeah, huge majority of people wouldn't admit it's their operating system, or drivers, or some program in the background that is being problematic. i'm into computer maintenance of rather sensitive audio and video workstations for like 15 years and i know what i'm talking about. so install the perfect version that works for you and... don't be a troll. :)) this is a fabulous player that i'm using since i installed windows 2000... i never felt a need to change it. d= ;) cheers! however, i would agree that mpc and mpc-hc are playing a little weird from version to version. i was most satisfied with 1.2 and 1.4 versions. for me they started being a bit problematic since v1.5. too many features, i guess... if they kept it simple and bug-free, it would be better. we don't use 90% of the features anyway. i know i don't. i play the movie, fullscreen, close it when the film is over. what else do you need? should it make pizza for you? :)) if i was a developer i would put all my effort into getting rid of bugs. not one single feature more. being a bugless program is a greatest feature of them all. ;) 5 stars nevertheless. this is one of the 15 and a half programs i have installed on my workstation.

this is the absolute worse anti-virus i have ever tried to install. it got about half way through then blue screened my lap top. i wasted my last 30 minutes on my phone trying to fix it and ended up having to do a system restore to 3 days ago. i will never try and install anything that has something to so with them again. if it weren't for guruaid, i may have never been able to fix my computer again. and, if it were an option, i wouldn't even give avg a star. so, for the record, i give them 0.

teracopy works great. i love the way it integrates into the shell, enabling "teracopy" and "teramove". granted, it slows down copying, but is actually faster if you run into errors that windows explorer can not handle. you can skip over the bad file and keep going. i tried the other copy programs. fastcopy is pretty good, offering a portable version that can add and remove shell extensions. it may be out of development, no updates since feb '11. extremecopy is pretty useless for explorer shell (right mouse click) users. i simply can't use it without shell extensions.give teracopy a 4.5, it isn't quite perfect.

imho, if your computer is not upgraded, i would install free windows. it works without interruptions and it is highly protected. web site http://free-windows.com
