"this release also include a public pre-release of microsoft cross-platform audio creation tool, managed direct code (2.0 clr), and direct3d 10."it includes it in the redistributables as well too...and for windows xp! interesting...
what a laugh. nviida video drivers and realtek audio drivers have a version every month. makes you think that "gee glad i have them or else my computer wouldn't be able to work w/o them? what's all this about anyway?
kudos, lame is one of best projects ever, one with the widest impact on the digital life of everyone!
i hope this software will continue to improve. i like the concept but in my system i found myself in an endless loop of reboots trying to delete a file that unhackme said was not on my machine.. i found much of the documentation hard to follow. the translation is in need of fine tuning. as far as i can tell once a file called "mchinjdrv.sys" was once on my machine and was in the autorun section of my registry. unhackme repeatedly found the entry in my registry and tried to delete the file even though it was not physically on my system. perhaps i misunderstood but i was repeatedly directed to reboot my system to remove the threat that repeatedly was reported not found....any way good luck to the development team. i hope you can refine this program so that it is more anglo-friendly and fool-usable.
great software, easy to use, loads of feature in one cool interface, supports loads of audio and video formats for conversion and the coolest part is that it also gets me music videos and movies from all kinds of streaming sites.that's definitely enough to keep me happy.
free means free. it should not mean it's "free, but if you want it complete it will cost you money". so for that i give it one strike. it's easy to use but not nearly as powerful as alternatives, thus giving it an element of incomplete-ness. strike two. beyond that it's decent, and works for the newbs, i guess. if you want powerful, and really, truly free... get imgburn.3 for putting up a decent effort, but the most damning is that it's not "truly" free for all the complete features.
hotkeyz is freeware, not shareware. hotkeyz is perhaps the best of the targeted hotkey apps. good interface design, lots of flexibility included and options available to make sure your keys are accurate and unconflicted. it even does hotstrings and lets you print out a list of your hotkeys for reference. brilliant!
i find this app very useful, it is light and does the trick.i like it when developers keep it simple. bottom line:recommended
i recently purchased a nifty hp pavilion dm1 notebook. it came with windows 7 64 bit and it was doing just fine. then, a few days ago i made a very stupid move and downloaded the windows 8 pre-release evaluation. what i didn't know was that once downloaded win 8 can't be removed. i tried to bring it back to factory settings, but windows 8 wiped that out, as well as all other hp programs that came with the note book. as i write, my bluetooth still doesn't work.i had to find hp drivers for my notebook to try and bring back to standard. some of them work and some don't. since my hp notebook doesn't come with a dvd optical drive i had to order one and also had to order a recovery disk from hp. as soon as these items arrive, i'll be nuking win 8 and get back to using win 7, which when you don't have it, one knows how good it was in comparison.as for win 8, it has some interesting do-dads. the start screen looks like my wife's lumia and quite frankly it sucks. to me it's gimicky and a bit childish. it gets in the way of doing what you want to do do with the computer. i could go on, but i've said enough. in short, i won't be shelling out any shekels for win 8, as it already has cost me a considerable amount of money attempting to get my new notebook back to its original condition. and yes, i was stupid.
